Goals

  • Empower visually impaired users to microblog independently

  • Leverage tech and systems for inclusive digital connection

  • Create a seamless, voice assisted user experience

Approach

Through interviews, putting together personas and empathy map, we refined our problem statement - HOW MIGHT WE look at technological and systemic interventions to help establish a platform to connect visually impaired individuals.

Deliverables

We designed a voice-assisted app and a concept device with inclusive and accessible UI. We explored usability through mock-ups, form studies and renders.

Impact

We mapped real-world scenarios and systemic integration through storyboards. We were also recognised with the D’Kalp Design Challenge award under ‘Physically Challenged’ theme which was presented by two of our team members.
